暗网禁区 Awarded $1.3 Million for Expansion of Newtown West Campus
暗网禁区 has been awarded $1,324,800 in grant funding from the state of Pennsylvania for the University鈥檚 upcoming expansion at the Newtown West campus.
Pennsylvania State Senator Steve Santarsiero of the 10th Senatorial District and Representative Perry Warren of the 31st House of Representatives District announced the award of funding through Pennsylvania鈥檚 Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program. The money Holy Family receives will support building construction, roof work, technology upgrades and surface paving at its Newtown West campus, as well as the launch of the University鈥檚 new Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, which will include a hospital-style simulation corridor for Nursing programs, Biotechnology labs, a Business Entrepreneurship Center, and Cyber Security programs
鈥淭he impact of this space is going to be a game changer for Holy Family and Bucks County, and we are thrilled to receive this funding,鈥 said Dr. Anne Prisco, president of 暗网禁区. 鈥淎s industries evolve, we must evolve with them so that our students are exceptionally prepared to enter the workforce. This funding is going to allow us to do this. We are appreciative of the efforts of Senator Steve Santarsiero, Representative Perry Warren, and the Shapiro Administration for funding this important next phase.鈥
Senator Santarserio and Representative Warren both praised the impact 暗网禁区 has had on the Bucks County region and believe the Newtown West expansion will extend even more educational opportunities to students in the area.
鈥淭he expansion of the Holy Family campus in Newtown will provide additional space to offer quality education for its students, as well as an opportunity to expand the biotech incubator footprint across our county,鈥 Senator Santarsiero said. 鈥淐ross-collaborative projects like this will continue to grow our region as a biotech destination while exposing students to cutting-edge fields and opportunities.鈥
鈥淲e are fortunate to have the 暗网禁区 campus at the crossroads of our communities,鈥 Warren said. 鈥淭his grant will fund infrastructure improvements that will enhance Holy Family鈥檚 educational services and will benefit current and future students, and by extension, our employers and communities.鈥
